youtube bullshit

vids on youtube constantly pull this thing where they load only a bit, they'll load maybe a few seconds, maybe the all but the last few seconds, and anywhere in between, then the progress bar just stops dead.  can leave it there all fucking day, it's going nowhere, and in the bottom corner of my browser it still says it's getting the stuff from youtube.

refreshing just gives me a blank player with an everlasting "Loading..." screen.

it's extremely tedious to have to close my browser, open it, head back to youtube and pray the video loads all the way this time.  if it doesn't, i have to close my browser... et cetera.

i'm using the latest version of firefox.

anyway around this, or is this just stuff i have to put up with if i wanna look at youtube?

yep it's bullshit.

i have a 20mbit connection and im stuck paused buffering for minutes for a 30s video.

most popular website + most bandwidth usage + shitty client = youtube bullshit

YouTube is alright, the client is not that bad (at least it interpolates videos, which Google and others don't) and it has a lot of contents. The main problem is bandwidth, it's saturated every now and then.
