tags in foobar

I have a problem in which only the filename of the song is shown on the playlist(instead of artist/album/songname), when I try to edit the info it still shows me just the filename.
How do I failed tagging?

What?, the problem only affects some songs and I cant add info to the ones that are only shown as the filename.

First of all, what version of foobar are you using?

It sounds like maybe those files no longer exist or were moved, changed directories, or is a different filename. Rescan your media library and remove dead entries.
