My firefox is full of AIDS

Help! My firefox has AIDS.  Sometimes when I copy (put text into clipboard) from firefox, it won't let me paste it inside firefox. I can still paste it into notepad, so I know text is getting into the clipboard.
One workaround is to paste text into notepad, copy it again, and then paste it into firefox.  But it's a pain in the ass.
Oh, btw, this happens only sometimes.

How do I cured Firefox of AIDS?

Nevermind, googled and found that it's a four year old bug in firefox that's *still* not fixed.  AHHHH FIREFOX IS FULL OF AIDS.
