A couple days ago I received a gig of RAM for my Powerbook. Thing is, with or without the factory-installed RAM inside, my computer will freeze up about 5-10 minutes after being turned on. I'm thinking all it is is that I received a bad stick of RAM, but are there any other possibilities that would cause something like this to happen?

As you have failed to provide us with both Powebook and RAM specs you seem like a clueless noob. Therefore the most reasonable explanation is that you're actually trolling, and the second most reasonable is that you picked the wrong kind of RAM for your computer.

Help! My firefox has AIDS. Sometimes when I copy (put text into clipboard) from firefox, it won't let me paste it inside firefox. I can still paste it into notepad, so I know text is getting into the clipboard.
One workaround is to paste text into notepad, copy it again, and then paste it into firefox. But it's a pain in the ass.
Oh, btw, this happens only sometimes.

what are you guys running? the unstable 1.5 branch? or the even more unstable 2.0 branch? just install the latest stable 3.0 build and you'll see what firefox is like, they even fixed a bad memory leak a month or two ago
