having problems w/ eyetoy as webcam

I've tried installing my eyetoy, and I can pick up an image with a webcam capture program called 'Dorgem'. So, I know that the device is doing something right. Problem is, MSN/Skype/AMCAP.EXE/etc. aren't detecting the camera. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling with several drivers using many guides.

It's the SLEH-00031 flavor.

Any advice? Thanks
