Graphics card borken?

I took my computer over to a friend's house, hooked it up, and I think I fucked up the graphics card somehow. When I went to start it up, there was a bunch of discoloured lines running along teh monitor, and then it just turned black. I unplugged it all, replugged it in, and it worked fine, but my graphics  wouldn't show up in my hardware tab.

Wut 2 do? I've tried looking at it after opening up mah computer, but I don't know shit so all I did was blow some dust off.
