Can you recommend me some hardware diagnostic tool, like these RAM test tools which come with, for example, Ubuntu distribution? Problem is that I can't boot *nix OS, Ubuntu in this particular situation, also already installed WinXP don't boot either, it gets past the WinXP logo and stops on black screen, nothing happens. For Ubuntu, it freezes at some point while booting or reboots. Tried reinstalling WinXP, no luck either, freezes at some random point. Mostly that's a hardware glich somewhere. Already tested RAM modules, passed OK, switched, removed them - no luck. There are only essentials left on this old system so probably motherboard is at fault, but as I don't have one to replace and check, asking you to recommend me some helpful diagnostic tool. Thanks.
