I need a new mouse.
I'd really like to be a pirate and use the logitech scam to get myself either a MediaPlay, or a G5. Probably the G5.. Thing is, I need that file with all the information that was leaked.
If I can't get that, then I'm open to suggestions. I'd like 5+ buttons, 4way tiltwheel, laser/optical, symmetrical, wired, USB. The logitech G5 has everything except it's not symmetrical, the MediaPlay has everything except it's wireless. I've had bad luck with wireless, as have most people that I know.
Also questions..
Realistically (not elitist), is there a difference between Laser and Optical?
Are the "media" buttons on the MediaPlay customizable? Like, can you make them do other things instead of Play, Next, etc.?
I'm not really worrying about price right now. I've got a mouse that works, this is just for future reference when I get a nice big bonus check.
