Desktop fonts?

I'm using Windows, but I assume this applies anywhere.

I'm looking for a good sans font for my Explorer environment. All these sans fonts look crowded or pixelated, and I keep going back to Arial. I've tried Lucida, Helvetica, Myriad Pro.

Calibri from Vista is nice, but its numbers are all serify and shit. What do you use?

Or my favourite, Trebuchet :D It has CHARACTER!!!

I'll have to browse through the rest of the Vista fonts.

Personally, I use DejaVu Sans.
