Build your own PC

what're some stores that let you pick the parts for a computer and they build it for you? I don't know shit about actually assembling it. And what're the necessities when building a comp? like, what're ones you absolutely need? (motherboard, hdd, shit like that)

Well, I'll tell you what you *don't* need:

System32 folder; You're free to erase that sucker all he does is take up your extra gigabytes.

You don't need a graphics card either.  Modern computers do graphics wirelessly

you need a case, motherboard, processor, hd, power supply, memory, video card, sound card, cd/dvd drives and maybe networking stuff depending on how you connect to the internet. just go to newegg.com or a similar site and go down their list of computer hardware. they have pretty much everything you need to build a computer. building a computer is not that hard too. i built mine with no previous experience. a lot of the parts you order come with generic instructions anyways. also its not like you can plug anything in the wrong way since all the plugs are different shapes and will only fit into specific places. i hope that helped :)

Don't buy too much RAM, companies love to make extra money by selling you more than you need. Plus viruses can get in if you have extra RAM not being used by someting else and once they are in they can really fuck up your system.

You generally want the older, more reliable original SDRAM and not the DDR SDRAM.  The fewer fans in the case, the less wattage (and cheaper) power supply you can get away with.
