Running PC Games on a Laptop

I have a Sony Vaio I use to play games with, but the lag is usually so horrible(I deal with it because I love WOW). Is there ANYTHING at all I can download or some program I can turn on/off to help this? Would lightening my hard drive make a difference?

I know this sounds incredibly stupid, but I won't have any money to buy a desktop for a looong time(stupid rent) so I need something to help for the time being.

You neeed a graphics card. Your laptop probably doesn't have one. I know this because I know people who could play WOW with a shitty FX5200 just fine. You could check to see if your laptop has an MXM slot(http://www.mxm-upgrade.com/Table.html). Stop playing that retarded MMO and use the money you would spend on it to pay for rent/a decent desktop/a decent laptop.

Well, it doesn't and I love WOW to play during my free time.

I guess I'll just have to wait then.
