data+audio cd...um

This problem's equally annoying in both OSes.

In Windows, I want the file selection to show the audio tracks (you know, Track01, Track02, Track03, etc) like it does with purely-audio CDs, not the files on the data track of the CD.

In Linux, I want to do this too.  But it doesn't even recognize the data track ("mount: no medium found").

How do I get freedom of choice in either OS on this matter?

What do you need to see the audio tracks for? Usually if you look at them they only show up as .cda files and only show to be about 30kb. I'm really curious to know as to why you'd need to see those.

Did you try ripping an iso of the CD and viewing the contents in winrar or isobuster?

Well because I want to play those tracks.  As far as I know, selecting those pseudo-files from a CD disc is the only way to get those audio tracks to play in WinAmp and WinAmp clones like XMMS.  Is there another way I haven't noticed?

I've successfully ripped tons of enhanced CDs, using Winamp even. I don't think you're trying hard enough. Are you one of those hardcore non-conformists who stayed down at winamp 2.5 when 5 came out just because 5 had a pay version that unlocked new features? Haven't you ever heard of a keygen? HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON? ARE YOU IGNORING ME?
