Hey, All of a sudden today my all my video files started to stutter and skip.
I've ran adaware, defragged my disk but still the same I heard somewhere that it might have something to do with the windows paging file..
Does anyone have a clue to fixing this problem? How do I shut off the windows paging file?

Turn off hardware acceleration.

hmmm, turned it off but the video is still skipping. Could it be that the hard drive is damaged?
When I try to play video off of DVD's it sometimes runs normally, but other times when i try, it is the same and stutters also.

but playing it off the harddrive will cause the video to skip 100% of the time.

shutting off windows paging file is probably not a good idea. if the paging file is the cause of your stuttering, that just means you're using up too much memory while playing the file. this could be caused by any number of background programs. just shut them off and see if your video playback improves.
