Windows Share

I'm trying to share folder over my network. I'm running win2kpro and the other computer is running winxp pro. computers are connected through a router. i had been previously running winxp pro as well, and the share was working fine. but now on on 2k when the other computer attempts to access the share it is prompted for username and pass. no matter what username and pass is put in, you always get an error that says you do not have permission. on the 2k machine, permission for the share drive is set that that everyone can access it.

what the fuck is wrong

the lack of linux?

Firewall issue?
