ATI mobility Radeon 9700 driver-problem (XP)

So, like the topic says, I'm really at a loss what driver I should install. When I try to install the new Catalyst-driver it just won't work. Yeah, kick me in the face, just tell me what to do =(

Explanation: Official catalyst does not support mobility chips. Ati offers links to several known notebook manufacturers websights to hunt for a driver.
The reality is that mobility chips are supported by driver itself, but not with driver description file (*.inf). So pretty much every tuned driver packages has inf file modified.
