Looking for a decent GIF program, would like to create animated GIFs as well as edit pics for animations, etc.

Which do you recommend? So far, I hear ImageReady, opinions?

Use ImageReady, all of the others I found sucked or were obsolete.

gimp + gimp animation package if you want to make gifs from avis
gimp also does animated gifs by itself, but i think gap provides some other extra features
