Both the keyboard and mouse on my other computer aren't being recognised, and the lights on them don't turn on when I turn the computer on. They're plugged into PS2 ports & I've got Windows 98.

Dead ports? Try to use your keyboard and mouse on another computer to see if they still work.

Then it's your motherboard that's the problem. RMA it.
