i'm sure it's possible.  just find a distro that has a ppc install cd and go for it.  unless mac mini's use some sort of moon-processor or something.  oh and google.

Google it seriously. I don't know how to install Linux after you update the firmware to allow Windows installations. Still, wiping your OS X partition doesn't sound like a good thing.
