firefox problem

Recently it refuses to start telling me it has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect of my computer. Is there any way to fix it or at least get my book marks and move to a diffrent browser?

sounds more like an access rights problem
try the (Safe Mode) of both FF and XP
bookmarks are located in:
C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME*\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\*\bookmarks.html
