Forcing to install Win98 drivers in Win2000?

Is it possible? I have an old Toshiba laptop that I was able to install Windows 2000 on, but it can't detect the video. The drivers for it were only made up to Windows 98, and when I try to use it, 2000 refuses, saying it's not for it. Is there a way to force it to use the drivers?

Disable useless services, don't use resident antiviruses, get rid of all the system tray bullshit, etc. I've ran it fine on 64 MB.
