Forcing to install Win98 drivers in Win2000?

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-08 6:49

Is it possible? I have an old Toshiba laptop that I was able to install Windows 2000 on, but it can't detect the video. The drivers for it were only made up to Windows 98, and when I try to use it, 2000 refuses, saying it's not for it. Is there a way to force it to use the drivers?

Argh...that sucks. What about NT drivers? There are also drivers for NT4.0 and 3.5. I have tried them, but they won't detect. Is there some way they could work?

How old is yours? This one's a 120mhz with 48mb of RAM. Surprisingly, minus the display issue, it actually works very well. I'd go a step further and see if XP could even install on it but the hard drive is only 1gb.
