Forcing to install Win98 drivers in Win2000?

Name: Anonymous 2006-06-08 6:49

Is it possible? I have an old Toshiba laptop that I was able to install Windows 2000 on, but it can't detect the video. The drivers for it were only made up to Windows 98, and when I try to use it, 2000 refuses, saying it's not for it. Is there a way to force it to use the drivers?

Why not install NT 4.0 ? I used it from 1998 to 2001. It was stable. OpenGL worked like a charm also, so I could do some fragging in quake1 and 2. Mozilla was functional also.

I am running linux now though.
