I bought an IBM A22m Thinkpad notebook for $5

It has no harddrive, 64 mbs of ram, and a pentium 3.

I put the Damn Small Linux disk in the CD drive, and it begins to boot.  When it is supposed to show the two penguins, it displays a blank screen.  What do you think the problem is?

Doesn't Live CD need more than 128MB of RAM? Did you wait for at least a few mins? we are talking about old Lap here.

It is an old lappy.  The boot screen on DSL says it can run on 16 mbs of ram. What do you mean by wait a few mins?
