okay guys, im looking for a new computer. im not computer dumb, considering the fact that i WORK at a comp shop repairing them and shit, but i still cant decide whether or not to buy a new PC, or a laptop. it wont kill me if its not protable, but it would help me greatly. and im just looking for input on the subject anywayz. so what do you think?im also willing to slap down 3000 total for it.

3000? Holy carp. If you aren't looking for portability, why the fuck are you asking for a laptop. Laptops have NOTHING over a regular PC other than portability. If you want it to be a little portable, get a barebones. Now gtfo.

Really, with $3000 you can have a real taste of both worlds. $2000 will hook you up with a pretty kick ass gaming machine and $1000 will buy you a cheap/decent laptop on top of that.
