Video problems when running Azureus

I can't see video whenever a program like Azureus or Limewire is open. Both of them to my knowledge run on Java. Is there anything I can do about this? In any case where I'm not downloading anything, I'd just close the program.

right click desktop > properties > settings > advanced > your vga > perf and quality settings
