I have a shortcut to K3D in one of my docks but whenever I try to start it, it says that a specific DLL is missing. Whenever I start it by directly clicking on the exe or on a shortcut on the desktop or start menu, it opens completely. The missing DLL is from the GTK runtime.
I had a similar problem like this with 3DS Max 8 but all the missing components were in the Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\ folder so I just copied them all to the app directory.
It's much more complicated with K3D because it relies on GTK and Python. Is there a real fix around this than just copying these files around?
