So whenever I let my computer go into sleep mode, it disconnects itself from my wireless network. The only way I've found to get around this is to leave Winamp open, for some odd reason.

How does I stayed connected?

By leaving Winamp open.

open the cmd and try this:
ping www.google.com -t

Another thing:
Why the fuck do you make your comp go to sleep mode?
ctrl-alt-delete -> lock computer
