Mini computer

Name: Anonymous 2006-05-23 20:40

Since my hardcore gaming days are over I'm looking to downsize and use my space more efficently. I'm basically looking for a mini computer like the MiniMac except not mac. I've looked around and there seem to be a fair amount of barebones systems, most of them compatible with the pentium M from what I have seen. Then there's also the route of buying a mini motherboard but that would mean I'd have to make some kind of box for it myself and that seems like too much hassle.

What I want to know is if anyone has any experience with mini computers and can recommend me anything. I'm mostly going to use it for surfing, watching movies and some sequencing/not so reasource heavy audio stuff. Needs to have usb and firewire but I assume most of them has nowadays.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

fuck you, shithead. yeah, 'cause shuttle's the ONLY brand that makes miniATX.
i said "PCI slotS" which includes the variant PCIe, which is just an implementation of PCI, assface.  Or is that too difficult for you to understand, retard?
OP said his "hardcore gaming days are over" so he's probably got a few AGP cards to rollback to, halfwit.  He'd be wise not to stick some hot-running, power-hungry PCIe card in a shuttle case that already overheats and has a pussy PSU, cocksucker.
Get bent, shuttlebitch.
