Weird Windows Problem

I have a problem 4chan,
I started up windows and when i tried to open up microsoft word i realized the icon for the program was one of those general ones, you know like when windows doesnt know what program to open the file with. As i started to look at my other programs i realized that the same thing happened with all the programs on my computer. I've never seen this happen before, help me!

Just open regedt32 and change the values of various keys until the icons fix themselves.
