Problem with Photoshop CS2

Name: Anonymous 2006-05-12 12:20

I just recently installed the full version of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and I can't seem to get jpg images to open under it.  I even uninstalled Photoshop 7 (the program that they previously always opened under).

Anyway, I tried to set it to where all jpgs automatically open in CS2 by right clicking one and selecting "Open with > Choose Program > Desktop > Adobe Photosohp CS2 > Always use this program to open files of this type"  But when I try it an error message comes out saying something about "this jpg is not a valid Win32 operation".

What's weird is that when CS2 shows up in the folders under "choose program" it doesn't even display the full CS2 logo, just the little blank screen icon thingy.  So I tried taking the shortcut off of the desktop and putting it there again, but still the same problem.  So I try taking the shortcut off of the desktop, going into Choose Program, going into Program Files and selecting the actual source program file but when I do nothing happens.  It doesn't even go into the Choose Program selection like I told it to.

I can still open files by opening CS2 itself and going into "File > Open", but I'd still like to be able to click on any jpg and have it instatnly open in CS2, which I can't do right now for some reason.
