To all my fellow no database for your ban guys, did you get it for a "doubles attempt" like I did? I served my ban etc etc because I left campus to return home for break, then I get back (to the same IP) and the ban still shows, so I try a board and got this.

I then cleared cache and still nothing.

I was banned from /a/ for 21 days for "meta spamming", telling people to stop shitposting about loli during the "anti-loli mod crisis" a while back.

The sentence is supposed to expire today, (during the 4chan black-out because of SOPA).

However, whenever I try to go to the /a/ board, I get a message that says:

hello there. A week ago i posted something that some Administrator would take as CP, but it wasn't really. What i posted was a Picture of a girl that lookd like she was naked, but i had removed some parts of the picture with Paint. In the whole picture she was not naked and had clothes on, and she was 17 years old, comeon...i dont see why i should get banned for not really posting CP. But i first got 15 days ban. and after 15 days it sayd i had ben unbanned and could return to the forum. But then i just suddenly sayd that i was banned and there is no days trail.

There seems to be a common problem people are having:

1.) People who had bans that expired, can't return now when they click on the board they were banned from previously. Instead, they get re-directed to the main page or to another board if their ban(s) only applied to a specific board, or boards.

They get this message when they try to return to said board(s) after their ban expired:

"You have been banned from 4chan.

There was no entry in our database for your ban. Therefore, the reason for this ban cannot be automatically determined. It is likely that your ISP is caching a ban intended for someone else. 2.) Even people who didn't have bans are encountering this problem.

Mods, this sounds like some kind of server issue. Please fix.
