Crazy blue haze

Name: Anonymous 2006-04-25 2:18

So heres my problem, I left to go to work turning my computer off as I usually do, when I get home it is off the same way that I left it. But when I now try to watch any, highlight ANY type of video clip movie or whatever, on any type of visual playing program ~ wmp, divx, etc, I get this crazy blue haze in the areas that look like they are meant to be shadows. If I pause it still stays there taunting me like only a crazy blue has can, if I restart its still there, and re-installing all software that plays vids did jack schitt as well.

Can you guys help me before I throw my godlike problem rigged computer out the window?

Can you determine if it is a hardware problem? Try changing resolutions and running a GNAA/Lunix livecd to see if it is a hardware or software problem.
Software: Install Lunix, problem solved
Hardware: Trash display, buy another, problem solved

Try swapping video cards and see if it still happens. Also, what codecs are you using?
