Backup Windows XP installation?

i have numerous things wrong with my computer at this moment, i have tried every way possible to fix it, and now my computer takes longer to boot/shutdown, browse drives, internet not reliable anymore, windows explorer crashes often.

Acer Travelmate 2310, celeron d @1.5Ghz, 700MB Ram. c/w windows xp home installed.

what i want to know, is there any way to make a installation cd of win xp thats from my computer (because it didnt have a cd).. or am i stuck with what i got?

Download an illegal copy then.  Since if the computer didn't come with a cd its probally an illegal copy on there anyways.
