Unclogging Epson 760 printer head

Dear 4chan,

I have an Epson 760 printer where the printer head for magenta is almost completely clogged. The other colors work fine, but it seems that only a couple nozzles work on the magenta head. The ink tank has just been replaced so that's not the problem.

How should I go about cleaning the head? It seems that a solution might be to remove the color ink tank, put a few drops of alcohol on the opening the ink goes through, put the tank back and do a few cycles of cleaning and printing. Should I try that, or should I buy a cleaning kit?

Do yourself a favor and don't sue an Epson printer.  Trust me.  There's a reason they're cheap.

Buy a new printer.
YOu can try anything though.  Taking the printer to get professional cleaning will probably be more hassle and money than it is worth. Also buy the replacement plan, only 24.99 for 2 years! WHAT A DEAL
