Firefox not playing videos

Name: Anonymous 2006-04-06 1:39

Generally I save videos to watch them but some sites insist on watching videos in a webpage. For some reason my firefox can't play them. It says its missing a plugin. When I click to download it it says it can't find one. So what plugin am I missing? It wont play any media in a window I don't think. I am using media player classic and real alternatives for quicktime and real.

Never, you say?  I remember Hotmail having problems as well as some other sites.  Though I haven't used Opera in awhile so maybe it was fixed.

Um...Firefox doesn't even have close to a 25% share. Not even a 10% share. WTF are you talking about?

NOT! Started in 1994, still has a fucking small userbase!

Well, sure, because it was for-pay until seven months ago. If they'd make it free at the same time FF came out, they'd probably be in FF's place right now.

Contrary to popular opinion, best usually does not come out on top. Timing and circumstances are everything. Marketing too, and the OSS bunch make great grassroots. FF was better than IE, and that's all that counted.
