I've had my PC for about 2 years, run regular maintainence, but when I recently tried to install Ventrillo I recieved this error:
"The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnell for assistance."
I don't have my windows install disk, or the cd key, so I doubt I'll be able to get any help from Microsoft. Is there any alternative to formatting my computer?
