Non-OEM BIOS upgrade possible?

Compy - Dell Dimension 4100

I was looking around at all the info Everest can show and found out that the MoBo was manufactured by AMI. Knowing this, can I flash the motherboard with a normal BIOS and unlock any hidden settings?

Simple answer? No Dell uses custom BIOS that prevent users from changing any sensitive setting like the VCore, and FSB speed
