im installin' windblows ECKS PI on a friends comp, and it jsut...........stopped. it stopped while it was finalizing the installation.................any ideas?

If it stops during installation, your CD could be damaged (or a fucked-up copy/image of the CD if ye be a pirate, arrr), or the computer itself has a fault (which can't be diagnosed easily just from "it jsut...........stopped"). Maybe bad hard drive or memory.

said, Check your cd, if the actual software actually works and any general stuff like that
