Bad seeking in video in bad encode. Fix?

I have an Xvid encode I got in a torrent but the seeking is fucked up. Everytime you seek there is huge artifacting until the next keyframe comes up. Is there a way to fix it without re-encoding the whole damn video?

OGM container, Xvid video, Vorbis audio, 29.97fps

Sounds like you're using VLC. Ditch that and get a decent player. Both Media Player Classic and Zoomplayer won't have that problem.
