Possible BIOS problem?

Dear god do I need help.

My desktop doesn't get past any bootup checks.
It pops up with the first screen, displays BIOS info, cpu speed, the little graphic, and the old "Press DEL to enter SETUP."

That's where it stops. No ram check, no IDE detection, nothing. I can't even ENTER the BIOS setup.

What lead to this?
My mum's computer's power strip tripped itself. So instead of checking her power strip she went straight to the breaker box and threw ALL the breakers in the house. The kicker is that every breaker is properly labeled. So there I was, enjoying music, 4chan, and torrenting then -Poof- no power.

A few specs:

CPU - Socket 939 AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Mobo - Jetway A210GDMS
RAM - 2 sticks of Corsair 184pin DDR (512 each)

Anyone have any ideas?

Standard diagnostic procedure: strip the computer down to just the m/b, graphics card (unless there's integrated graphics, in which case use that), CPU and one stick of memory. Clear the CMOS and fire the machine up. If it passes the POST, start adding components one at a time (hard drives, optical drives, remaining memory, etc) until it stops passing POST, then you've found your culprit. If it doesn't pass POST, try the other stick of memory on its own. If it still doesn't pass POST, then your motherboard is shot.
