MUGEN on mac? is it possible?

Has anybody know if it is possible to run MUGEN on mac os (yeah, I know what you gonna think "games on a mac etc etc) but if there is a linux version is there a possibility of booting linux from a cd or compiling mugen for mac?

I never used linux so I dont know whats the process of installing it. Anyways, any ideas are appreciated.

Well OSbuttseX is based on FreeBDSM which has Linux binary emulation, so it should be possible to run the Linux version. I'm not sure if the non-x86 architecture will stop it from working though. There's also a DOS version, might be possible to run it in DOSBox.

so how can I install linux on the mac? is it possible to make linux boot from a cd instead on installing it over? I dont know if by installing I may screw my computer up or something. I have a normal power pc not an x86 btw.
