OK, so my set up is as follows:
500GB Fileserver :D
933MHZ laptop tiny HD :(
They're both connected to an 8mbit DSL line, the fileserver by wire, the laptop wirelessly.
Basically I'm wondering, if I open a torrent on my laptop and select to save it on the fileserver, will it take any sort of speed hit with all this travelling wirelessly.
Would it be better just to instigate the download from the fileserver in the first place.
