I am trying to install a windows system onto a computer. However, once I get to the point where I enter the product key, I try entering the product key on the sticker on the side of the tower (which is for the same OS), but it rejects the product key as invalid.
Someone said that the windows cd has the product key for it on the disk itself, which is possible. However, I had to reinstall win2k a month ago on someone else's computer, and I borrowed a copy of a win2k from a friend, and used the product key on the side of that comptuer, and it worked, even though there was no way the product key I used could have been on the cd.
So, simply, my qustion is: How do I hax product key?
