I'm trying to run Raid5 with 5 x 300 gig maxtors, but the raid controller built into by motherboard only supports 4 drives at a time. My question is, is there a RAID controller that supports Raid 5, has a minimum of five SATA150 ports (or 3gbps if i can still plug my 150's into them) and runs off of either a regular 32bit PCU slot or a PLIe 16x slot? and if possible, NOT like 300-400 dollars. I've spent enough on the 5 drives, i kinda dont wanna spend just as much for a controller for them...
