PDFCreator wins enormously. It acts as a virtual printer, intercepting any document you print from almost any program and turning it into a PDF. Completely free and open-source.
I use PrimoPDF for testing printing in my applications because I'm too lazy to get paper or ink for my printer, and I don't have a spare electrical plug for it on my wall. Also my printer is somewhat broken in that it doesn't like to recognize black cartridges.
