Many distros have a ppc port, thanks to Yellow Dog's efforts. Gentoo, Debian, Ubuntu are all I can think of off the top of my head.

Don't forget to use -kill-yourself. The only people I've ever seen who use anything other than -march=/mtune= -O2 -pipe are the speed freaks who post on the Gentoo forums about hacking up nitro-sources. And isn't having the choice to build the software the way you want a good thing, or are you convinced your way is the One True Way?

Actually, having the choice to build the software is pretty shitty. Unless I want to hack, learn, or develop, I like executable code (which Unix people call "binary") distributions.
