Ad Computers

Do any of these sound good to you guys?

AMD 900 mhz/ 17 inch, $125
AMD 2.6 ghz 17 inch, $375
AMD 2.9 ghz, $400

I dunno.  You want some RAM to go with those systems?  Or a hard drive?

And I'd be wary of anybody selling an AMD as 2.9GHz.  AMD adopted a not-the-clockspeed naming system for a reason.

Sound like refurbished junk to me.

(How about processor model, RAM capacity and speed, motherboard and chipset, GPU processor, speed, VRAM and VRAM speed, other hardware bundled, etc.)

These were just ads in my local newspaper, but here's one more I have my doubts about:
AWESOME DUAL 500 mhz P3, all upgraded, $250
SUPER HOT dual 800 mhz P3 with 768 mb RAMBUS running at 600 mhz, $350

Buy a proper PC from a reputable supplier such as IBM, none of this second hand junk.

Remember, nobody ever got fired for buying IBM. It's as true now as it was a century ago.
