i downlaoded all of hyper police the other day (fansubbed,btw) and its a format called MKV. anybody have a uber huge codec pack that would have it or a player for this kind of file? players would be awesome, as would codec packs.

Google .mkv, there is a filetype dictionary that should give you a link to the proprietary (and probably shitty) player/codec package.

It's incredibly unlikely that modern mkv encodes would have the fansubs, which are quite old, instead of R1 rips which are pretty recent.

the CCCP has a very bad one in it, it works of winblows media foogler and doesnt like to play right some of the time.
