Name: Anonymous 2006-01-20 12:36

I've got my self a 250 GB HDD but my stolen XP just sees 137GB.
I've read that any service pack will fix this but I can't update through windows update site.

How do I installed SP ?

there might be a crack to change your product key, and perhaps theres a key generator, but you didnt hear that from me.

If your extra paranoid, download the redistributable version.

There's an official method of changing the product key:

Service Pack 2 won't install if you've got one of the really widely-distributed leaked volume license keys (FCKGW-, anyone?), but it should be easy enough to find a leaked key that does work with SP2.

all you really need is sp1. it did something to the registry so that it cas see over the 137gb barrier. i assume its the bus bits or something.

It enables 48-bit LBA. XP with Service Pack 1 supports it right off the bat (provided you have the right version of atapi.sys), though you should apply a hotfix to clear up a couple of issues, and it can be enabled in an experimental form in the original XP release. Details here.
