Are there any translators that can translate text and/or webpages that don't suck like babelfish and google translate do?
It's next to impossible sometimes to understand a babelfished japanese to english translation (although their translations of almost every other language seem to be good)

Always-accurate Japanese to English is next to fucking impossible by machine translation, because the language is so fundamentally different in its structure. Seek out a translation site powered by the BizLingo engine, as it seems to produce usable results more frequently than Babelfish does.

Just because they're free, doesn't mean you shouldn't shop around for something that's better. Babelfish produce results so random you can barely even understand the context of the text, let alone understand the content.
